Brian is excited to be a part of the KHS musical as the instrumental music director. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, McDonough earned bachelor’s degrees in music education and euphonium, summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. During his tenure at CCM, Brian was a two year intern and assistant conductor for the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensembles and served as a guest conductor for the CCM Wind Ensemble and CCM Brass Choir.  Brian has recently expanded his conducting passion into musicals, serving as the conductor for Kings High School’s productions of The Drowsy Chaperone, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Crazy of You as well as the assistant conductor for William Mason’s High School’s production of Anything Goes. Mr. McDonough is committed to lifelong learning and is happy to share in the educational process at Kings.
