Amy Burgess

Choreographer

Amy is an alumnus of Anderson High School and Miami University, where she earned a BFA in Theatre Performance. Amy has taught dance for the last 10 years.  Previous work includes:  Rent, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Young Frankenstein, Brigadoon, Urinetown, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying), Pippin, The Secret Garden (Anderson H.S.); Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, Footloose, Aida, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, Urinetown, Thoroughly Modern Millie (Highlands H.S.); Wizard of Oz, Once Upon a Mattress, and Schoolhouse Rock, Live (Highlands M.S); Les Miserables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Shrek, and Cats (Children’s Theatre of Mason); Annie (St. Ursula H.S.); Carrie (Showbiz Players); Equus (New Edgecliff Theatre Company) The Nina Variations (Playhouse in the Park); You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Thomas More College); Little Mermaid Jr., Once On This Island Jr., Cinderella Jr., Aladdin Jr., and Music Man Jr.  (Kings J.H.); The Drowsy Chaperone, Beauty and the Beast, Crazy for You, Into the Woods, Wizard of Oz, Children of Eden, Anything Goes (Kings H.S.); Spamalot, Ragtime, The Addams Family, Parade and The Producers (C.A.S.T). Amy is also on staff as a performer with the Cincinnati Reds.
